State Representative Mark Pocan of Madison will be the Emcee for this year’s event. -- \n\n\n\nThe Awards Banquet is OutReach's primary annual fundraising event. It showcases the services of OutReach and honors the contributions of individuals, community members, and organizations that support OutReach's mission “to promote equality and quality of life issues for LGBT people.” -- \n\n\n\nAwards are presented for Woman of the Year, Man of the Year, Organization/Business of the Year, Ally of the Year (non-LGBT), OutReach Volunteer of Year, and Special Recognition/Courage. -- \n\n\n\nThe OutReach LGBT Community Center has served Madison & Dane County’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities since 1973, providing counseling, advocacy, education, and information/referral services.
